Position Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Solecta’s IT infrastructure and technology strategy. This includes overseeing all IT assets and systems, cybersecurity, desktop support, Microsoft 365, on premise, cloud and network infrastructure across Solecta’s locations and remote user community. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively specify, buy and manage our enterprise applications including ERP/MES/CRM. Additionally, this candidate will select and manage the outsourced IT providers including desktop support and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to work independently, collaborate globally, and take on a wide variety of IT projects.
Essential Functions
- Manage all aspects of information technology from infrastructure and connectivity to business systems and reporting.
- Develop and execute Solecta’s IT strategy to support operations, scalability, and cybersecurity for a globaly dispersed user base.
- Ability to create a general philosophy, executable plan and hands on technical skills to execute key components of that plan.
- Understand requirements and develop a robust infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.
- Drive the selection, negotiation, and implementation of appropriate business systems (e.g., ERP, MES, CRM).
- Provide ongoing support of business systems, including configuration and reporting assistance.
- Guide data collection and provide analysis tools for manufacturing based on data origin, process flows, equipment capabilities, and engineering requirements.
- Manage relationships with remote IT support teams to ensure data security, network access, backup systems, and issue resolution.
- Ensure business continuity through effective disaster recovery planning and data protection strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify IT needs, process improvements, and systems enhancements.
- Handle the annual IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness across technology investments.
- Provide technical support and employee training to improve technology adoption and productivity.
- Develop, document, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging trends in IT and cybersecurity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, Microsoft, Cisco) a plus.
- 10+ years of IT experience; minimum of 3 years in an IT leadership or management role.
- Well versed in all aspects of infrastructure, cybersecurity, connectivity, cloud solutions, and Microsoft 365 technologies on a global scale.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably both process and discrete.
- Relationships with IT outsourcing and business software providers, including negotiation experience.
- Proven experience implementing and supporting ERP, MES and CRM systems.
- Demonstrated success at managing multiple IT projects end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise software (including Microsoft 365), IT infrastructure, and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Expert analytical and problem-solving skills; strong critical thinking capabilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to anticipate various outcomes and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep pace in a fast-moving, dynamic business environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
The salary range for this position is $88,550 to $164,450. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, job-related knowledge, experience, and location. No relocation available.
